Privacy Policy

Overview

OperonOps is a product of D&S Applied Solutions LLC. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have over it.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. Full stop.

What We Collect

When you use OperonOps we collect:

• Account information — your name, work email address, and organization name
• Operations data — equipment records, maintenance schedules, vendor contracts, permits, and documents you enter into the system
• Usage data — basic logs of actions taken in the app to help us improve the service and diagnose issues
• Billing information — payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details

We do not collect patient data, clinical data, or any sensitive regulated information.

How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

• Provide and operate the OperonOps service
• Send you notifications you've opted into (PM reminders, contract alerts, issue reports)
• Send transactional emails (welcome email, password reset, billing receipts)
• Respond to support requests
• Improve the product based on how it's used

We will never use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL) hosted on AWS infrastructure. Documents are stored in encrypted cloud storage. We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls.

No system is perfectly secure. If we ever discover a breach that affects your data, we will notify you promptly.

Third-Party Services

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate OperonOps:

• Supabase — database and file storage
• Stripe — payment processing
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Vercel — application hosting

Each of these services has their own privacy policy and security practices. We only share the minimum data necessary for them to perform their function.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correction — update inaccurate data (most of this you can do directly in the app)
• Deletion — request that we delete your account and associated data
• Portability — request an export of your data
• Opt-out — unsubscribe from non-essential communications at any time through your account settings

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account, we will delete your data within 90 days unless we are required by law to retain it longer.

California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). You have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of its sale (we don't sell it). Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you by email. Your continued use of OperonOps after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
